Morningside Flight Park in Charlestown, often considered one of the most complete flight parks in the country, sits among the Connecticut River Valley’s rolling hills. The property’s gently elevating slope makes it a good training ground for beginners and a challenging launch site for experienced pilots. The flight park also has first come, first serve campsites and three cabins for rent.
Morningside Flight Park also offers two zip line tours. The Mountain Top Zip Line Tour begins from the top of Morningside Mountain with a vista of the Connecticut River Valley and is designed so almost everyone can do it. The Superman Zip Line Tour consists of a total of seven zip lines and two suspension bridges, one of which is over 50 feet up in the treetops.
