Claremont Opera House

The Claremont Opera House is a beautiful Victorian-era building that has been a focal point of downtown Claremont since its construction in 1897. The opera house was designed by architect Harry W. Brainerd using Italian Renaissance Revival styling. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The auditorium has a total capacity of 783 persons and today it continues to serve the Sugar River Region as a magnificent cultural gathering space for concerts, theatrical performances, and other cultural events.
