The Sugar River Region Hiking Challenge

Join us on the trail! The Sugar River Region Hiking Challenge invites you to explore ten local hikes, each chosen for the rewarding views waiting at the top and the journey it takes to get there. Along the way you’ll enjoy quiet forest paths, climb to scenic overlooks, and discover corners of the region you might never otherwise find. The collection is designed to lead you across the Sugar River Region, from wooded hillsides to rocky viewpoints, offering new perspectives on our beautiful region with every climb.

Complete all ten hikes to earn a commemorative embroidered patch to mark the accomplishment and the miles under your boots. When you’ve finished the challenge, email director@sugarriverregion.org with the dates you completed each hike and attach photos from each one. $15 will cover your patch and helps support our work to connect the region and make these experiences possible.
