Sara SheehanSooo yummy! We love getting our sushi from here and usually do take out, but finally we’re able to sit down and be served. Service was good, started outside by the river but the rain drove us inside. Edamame was yummy but did have a lot more salt than I like, and the wasabi was spicy! All the sushi was delicious and fresh!

TylerAn absolutely sensational experience! Wow. I stopped in with my date for dinner last night and my goodness, were we impressed with Sakana! The restaurant itself is a multi-floor space with the hibachi tables located on the top floor. There is an elegant mini bar and sushi bar on the lower floor along with smaller tables that I see as a perfect spot to grab lunch or dinner with for a party of two. The food and drinks were sensational, fragrant, fresh, and thoughtfully presented. I was blown away by the drinks. I got the Tokyo Mule, which was smooth and flavorful. My date got both a Jalapeño & Guava Margarita and also the Grapefruit Martini. Both were outstanding, flavorful, strong and at the same time smooth. Excellent job to the bartenders. The food was incredible. We got the shrimp tempura to start, and I went with the steak & shrimp teriyaki with fried rice. My date got the steak & fried rice. The broths and sauces were absolutely delicious. I loved the fresh spring veggies in the salads we got, and the dressing was so good, I feel it’s top 5 of all time for me. Try the salad for sure. The rice, steak, and shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. The entrées arrived hot and elegantly prepared. We also decided to order some spicy tuna rolls towards the end of our meal. I am new to sushi in general but I absolutely loved the flavors of the white rice, seaweed and tuna. Thank you to the chefs, the food was absolutely stunning and delicious! Our waitress was absolutely on point with her service! She was very attention and prompt with the service and we really appreciate how accommodating and attentive they were. All of the staff members here do a great job with their presentation and are true professionals. This restaurant was one of my favorites so far on the year! Without a doubt, I look forward to returning again sometime soon. Thank you Sakana! I will be back!

Kathy MAlthough it doesn't exude upscale from the exterior, we were pleasantly surprised to find the inside charming and cozy. We sat outside on the small patio overlooking the river. The service was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the sushi and sashimi for 2. Filled with a variety of delicious fish and even a spicy roll, there was a bit of something for everyone. We're very excited to have a good sushi restaurant nearby and will be returning.

Olivia ObaraHadn't realized this place was in the area til now. I got takeout; crab rangoon and a Buddha prayer roll (with cream cheese added) everything about the experience was great. The atmosphere was cute and friendly. Takeout was packaged better than I've seen anywhere else. Flavor was there. All made with love, probably.
