Morningside Flight Park
Morningside Flight Park, often considered one of the most complete flight parks in the country, sits among the Connecticut River Valley’s rolling hills on land that must have been cosmically designed for hang gliding and paragliding. The property’s gently elevating slope has made it a world renowned training ground for beginners and a challenging launch site for experienced pilots. The park also offers tandem hang gliding, as well as aero-towing for solo pilots with the proper ratings.

Jul 24, 2026 · Google ReviewI highly recommend Morningside flight park. They were all extraordinarily nice and giving. I went for a weekend just to get roughly into paragliding and now I’m on track to finish my P1 certification! The manager Gigi was very understanding of my financial situation and they worked with me. They were very flexible working with my tight work schedule and were able to get me in very last minute. The camp spots are the cheapest price I’ve ever seen and will blow your mind with the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. My instructor Hayden felt like the best bang for your buck you can get. I learned so much within only a couple of hours and by the second day I already felt like a pro! The community is outstanding and made me feel like I’m home. I truly feel like I’ve found my people I’ve been looking to find my entire life. I am super grateful for them. If you ever considered learning how to paraglide or hang glide, I highly recommend this place 100 times over any other place. The best of the best!
Jun 30, 2026 · Google ReviewIf you have ever considered learning how to fly I cannot recommend Morningside enough. The paragliding instructors are kind, patient and knowledgable. With varied teaching styles, you are sure to find an instructor that works for you. You will not find a hill more suited to learning how to paraglide or hang glide within 1000 miles.
Jun 23, 2026 · Google ReviewI'd give this place six stars if I could! This has to be one of the top hang gliding and paragliding school setups in the world. The quick turnaround between hang gliding flights is second to none to practice take-offs and landings (whatever you need to work on: crosswind, high wind, you name it). The progressive launches are aligned as to ease new students slowly into more complex flight, step by step. It's truly the perfect school to learn from scratch and keep pushing your skills.
Jun 12, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat training hill. I worked on my tandem rating here and it was the perfect spot to get the flight numbers in. Punch card for shuttle is fair price and moves quickly to bag lots of laps. Friendly staff and instructors on site. Camping and ziplines as well!
Jun 10, 2026 · Google ReviewAwesome experience! Expert instructors, equipment dealer, and over a hundred acres of camping and nature. The free flight community’s New England destination!
Jun 7, 2026 · Google ReviewMorningside Flight Park is a great place to hangglide or paraglide. Beautiful and varied elevations (150, 250, 450+) to fly from and lovely flats to land and learn on. Huge grassy meadows and woods to enjoy as you fly. On top of that, the local flying community is helpful, welcoming, and full of inspirational top shelf flyers. I am really enjoying competent and thorough lessons from the very patient professionals at Kittyhawk Kites while learning at this wonderful place.
Jun 5, 2026 · Google ReviewOutstanding experience for a new hang glider student pilot, took the 2 day intro course, spent lots of time with amazing person and professional teacher BOBBY 🤩. Worked my way out from running on flat ground a dozen times to going up the hill and lifting 2,3,5 seconds etc. Ended 2 day trip with a launch from the 150 feet mark, a 25 seconds flight , totally stoked, best feeling EVER! Will come back next spring to finish my H1. Thank U again. Jerome from Montreal ✌️
