Amazing trail. I have a 3 and 7 year old (in 2025) they did just fine. We made it last a full hour doing thr whole trail and than had lunch on the benches provided ♥️
Oct 17, 2025 · Google ReviewEasy little hike on well-marked and well-maintained trails with lots of great Brook/rock exploring! It’s adjacent to 89 so you will hear interstate noise along the west edge of yellow trail, but for a quick afternoon outing with kids to just get some exploring it - it was perfect. Nice investment of little signs pointing out interesting features with QR codes for more info.
Aug 30, 2025 · Google ReviewI discovered this park by chance as I drove past on my way to a different conservation area ... what a gem! The water in the Brook was low leaving beautiful rocks exposed and shallow pools of water. There was enough water, however, to still create small waterfalls. The trails are well marked accompanied with periodic maps showing where you are. Informational signs are also posted to point out a massive glacial erratic boulder, specific trees, and terrain. The QR codes on these signs provide the opportunity to gain more information as well. The only downside is the traffic noise from routes 89 and 10, but that can't be helped. Kudos to the people developing and minting this site.
Jul 17, 2022 · Google ReviewCute park along the river in Grantham that used to serve as the grounds for the old Fairground. Hiking is easy on relatively flat land. Can get noisy from the traffic along 89 but doesn’t take way from the beauty of the landscape.
Apr 6, 2024 · Google ReviewA great place to stop and get the wiggles out. We took our time, and spent just over an hour doing the full loop.
