kelly o'connellHaving had a great experience having a dress hemmed, I returned to have my own wedding dress altered. Let me tell you Renee is not only great to work with but she does amazing work! My dress had intricate lace edges which needed to be removed completely, then sewn back on after it was hemmed to fit, it looked and felt amazing! She was able to keep the beautiful train and added a bustle. We put the bustle to the test by doing a fair amount of rock hopping for photos and it held up great! Renee was so sweet and easy to work with through everything. She also altered my reception dress and lent a hand providing her expertise to my mom! I couldn’t recommend her enough !! Katharine CallThe girls at Tailor Bird are amazing. I arrived with a vintage wedding dress that had been worn by 4 other brides in my family that was miles away from fitting me and they rose to the challenge with care and enthusiasm. Throughout my wedding day people commented “I can’t believe how perfectly that dress fits you”. The care and expertise of this team was evident in their work and I especially appreciated their attention to making sure that the dress could continue to be altered should other women in my family want to wear it.

Rileigh PelletierI am so thankful for having Renee alter my wedding dress. She listened to all of my Concerns and provided me with suggestions to make the dress feel as comfortable as possible. She fit me In last minute to add a bustle and was very easy going and attentive. I will recommend everyone I know to use Renee for their sewing and alteration needs. She worked carefully and was able to replicate some of the appliqués the dress has to hide the bustle buttons. I’m in love! Renee, you’re the best!

Alexis WebsterRenee is beyond incredible! She is so quick with her work & her pricing can’t be beat either. Super easy to work with & always has the bride’s desires at top of mind. I could not recommend her enough. She even spent time helping me box up my dress to send it to family in North Carolina in preparation for the wedding. 12/10 experience!!!!!
