Best full breast fried chicken sandwich I've had. Batter fried sticks to the chicken, not oily, no fryer taste at all! Great fried chicken!

We had a decent meal at The Summer House recently. The atmosphere walking in was odd, though .. 3-4 wait staff were sitting in chairs as we walked past and every one of them were on their phones. We asked to sit outdoors and there was a nice breeze but many flies around so probably wasn’t ideal . There’s a bit of bird droppings on the railings around the deck and maybe this was contributing to that. A good scrub down and fresh coat of paint would brighten the area. The food , however, was pretty good. Fish and chips and these huge chicken wings with peach sauce that was tasty. Our waitress was kind and funny and we did not feel rushed like we had felt on a previous visit. She even told us to take our time which was wonderful. Kindness is a huge part of any dining experience for us. 5 stars for that! Our food came out in a timely manner- not too quick or too slow. All in all it’s a decent place to stop - maybe sit inside.. for a meal and drink.

This was our pit stop on the way to the white mountains turned into be such a great experience! Delicious fresh food and absolutely top notch service. Michelle was our server and she was attentive and delightful. Reasonably priced and good beer / cocktail / wine selection. I’m sure we’ll be back the next time we’re up this way!

I was in the other night sitting in the dinning room next to the lady freaking out about a salad. I heard the staff offer her multiple choices to which she declined all of it. On my way out I witnessed her get in a managers face about it and I just wanted to come here and say I commend these employees for their composure. Aside from the great staff the meals were great! A burger and pasta dish, both awesome! Definitely coming back and would recommend anyone in the area to stop by!
