The best latte I’ve had in a while. Vanilla Maple Ice Latte with Oat Milk. Simply perfect blend of flavor and coffee. Had a nice talk with the gentleman working as well. Banana bread was tasty as well. Almost ate it all before I took a pic. This is a great coffee shop. Glad I picked it on my trip.

I love coming here! The owners are a husband and wife duo. The wife makes all of the bakery treats, the food in the case. It’s so good, come in early to have the most options for food because it’s first come first serve. The husband runs the register and makes all the beverages. There was a lady in front of me who really want a ham cheese croissant and they were out in the case, she was visibly upset, and the wife went above and beyond to make her one hot and fresh. This iced tea with tumeric, ginger, honey, black pepper was a personal recommendation from the husband with my allergies or when folks are feeling yucky. Such a great family friend local business to support! Smores cookies, raspberry cream cheese danishes, 4th of July Rice Krispies and cookies, peanut butter cookies, tiramisu; sometimes wraps for lunch in the case; pepperoni stromboli. The best brown sugar pop tarts you’ll eat in your life. They rotate between brown sugar and strawberry. They have premium ice cream in a case for the summers too.

I made my way over to Newport today and found this cool little spot called The Big Spoon and I am so glad i did! What a treasure right in downtown #NewportNH! Plenty of parking right on the street and just a short walk to the doors. This is tucked back in beside MJ Harrington and The Newport Fitness center. Everything looked amazing, my cappuccino was perfect and the raspberry and cheese danish was light and airy and a perfect blend of sweet/savory. It was pretty good sized too! I even snagged a container of caramel tiramisu for a special some one.

Update: July, 2026. Was finally able to return. I was not disappointed in the least. It remains my destination ice cream place. It is worth the hour drive. The quality of the product is superb, but Corey and Michael exemplify true dedication to being a community member business. They welcome everyone as if they were inviting them into their own home. It simply feels good. They truly are an American business. Thank you bith! Took a motorcycle ride specifically to try this place. It was well worth it. Michael and Corey are wonderful people. The shop is magnificent: bright, welcoming, comfortable. The ice cream is superior to anything in a 100 mile radius. The pastries looked delicious. It is worth a trip of any distance specifically to eat there - a true destination, not simply an afterthought.

I go here multiple times a week, I love it! There’s something about showing up and having someone remember your long order that is so nice. I rarely have time to sit at the tables and hang out but when I do, it’s a cozy, quiet environment to get some work done while sipping on an amazingly well crafted latte.
