Sunapee Harbor is hopping!!!! Recently met one of the proprietors at Sunapee Cellar & Pantry and, in addition to all the fabulous wines, cheeses, etc, she also had BEEF TALLOW!!!!!!! This tallow is soooo smooth and tasty with a beautiful color. I use tallow for everything from a spoonful in coffee, baking, protein smoothies and skin care. I swear I felt like I was looking at a unicorn when I saw it in her store. My online beef tallow ordering days are over. Sunapee Harbor is a hidden gem with a great restaurant, a brewery and a wine and cellar pantry of goodness. No gatekeeping here; Sunapee Harbor is the magical place to be this winter.

If you've spent any time around Sunapee Harbor and haven't gotton youself over to Sunapee Cellar & Pantry, you must be under a rock! Reese and Julie, the proprietors, have brought great vibe to the harbor with their hand selected wines, meats & cheeses, crackers, and tasteful gifts. You won't want to miss their newly opened outdoor patio where you can sit and relax watching all the harbor activity while you enjoy a great glass of wine and a charcuterie plate. Nothing beats a sunny day under the umbrellas at your own table. The world may be rushing by, but you can set your own pace with the best fruit of the vine, cheeses, and artisan crackers. You do not want to miss their wine tastings, a Sunapee Harbor must. On many Thursday evenings they offer a curated selection of wines from around the world for you to sample. Emily and Derek, two of my favorite distributors, do a superb job guiding you through their selections. These typically take place from 4 to 6 P.M. You may want to get there early, because on a nice day the tables can fill up quickly. Check their web site for dates. These wine tastings are such a special time, that many evenings we'll make a new friend who shares our love of all things wine. One welcome addition for the morning crowd is their superb coffee bar. Their european machine is a wonder at creating pretty much any coffee/espresso drink you would like. Check their web site for mornings/days when they're serving coffee. There may be other places in the harbor who purport to serve coffee, but don't be fooled by these pretenders. Get the real thing! I hope you fall in love with a new wine that perhaps you've never tasted before and when you're there tell Reese and Julie that Jim sent you! Cheers!

Nice wine and snack shop. Friendly staff, great location in the harbor. Fancy mocktails and chips/crackers/meats. Charcuterie et al! Even had a popsicle for my kid.

very nice single vineyard biodynamic wine offerings and tons of cheese, crackers, chips and charcuterie items. also worth mentioning you can grab an american pie hand made frozen pizza or a package of local beef for your dinner to dit beside a great glass of wine! worth a stop
