This historic bridge lies several feet off the road and is no longer carrying traffic over the river. It looks as if snowmobiles use it in winter. One of the last covered bridges left for us to photograph and visit.

tate of New Hampshire Covered Bridge No. 18. The 1869 McDermott Bridge in Langdon was reportedly constructed by Albert S. Granger (1834–1922) of Westminster, Vermont, using virgin timber taken from nearby Fall Mountain.
